We fly SFO->Paris->Bergen and take a Hurtigruten cruise up the Norwegian Fjords and into the Artic Circle. I’ve upgraded our seats to give us more legroom.  It is far more comfortable on long flights.

I can’t wait to go.  “Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow”  and it will in the mornings the first few days of our trip.  I’m hoping for some clear skies with a dazzling display.

Gavin visited us over the holidays and in an unusually giving mood, he transferred his cold to both Ellen and I.  It’s not what you want when leaving for a trip.  Even worse we’ll be travelling in Norway and Sweden in some cold weather.  Some of the towns on the coast have a projected low temp of 4 degrees Fahrenheit.  Brrrrrr

I’ll post photos as we go.  I’m hoping my trip planning was as thorough this trip as it was for our Italy trip.  We’ll see.
