Home Again, photos updated

We’re home for a few weeks before heading to San Diego for our friends wedding. The day we get back, Ellen is off to a girl’s get-together at Lake Tahoe. I’ll pick Ellen up at the lake a few days later and we’re off to New England for a number of weeks. We’ll visit family and friends on the way. It may be fun visiting the towns where we grew up. That brings to mind Thomas Wolfe’s saying, “You can never go home again.”

We took a number of photos on our recent trip to Coupeville, Washington. On the drive north, we visited Wildlife Safari, Oregon, took an inordinate number of photos. What we thought might be a three-day visit with friends, Jerry and Michelle, became a seven-day stay. We caught fresh crab and clams and had a wonderfully relaxing visit, when we weren’t working on their farm. We actually did not work much at all.

We had to leave to make a 60th birthday party for our friend Jim. We had missed two of his BD parties in the past and could not miss this one.

On the way back we visited the Evergreen Aviation and Space Museum in McMinnville and did some wine tasting in the Willamette valley. Oregon’s Pinots are quite good!

I’ve added some of my photos from our trip. Ellen’s will go into the mix in a few days.
