Good News:
I’ve added a group of travel photos Ellen took these past few weeks to our photo albums. They’re available in the Coupeville Whidbey Island album.

Some Bad News:
My SMF Forum was hacked. Accessing the forum brought up a nasty message,”security warning your system has been hacked, please contact the number below…” it went on and on. I imagine if you call the number, the person at the other end will ask to get access to your PC. Giving an unknown person full access to your computer is big trouble.

The “security warning” message is unnerving. The application that takes control of your browser disables all of the typical methods to stop a browser session. To stop the message you have to bring up Task Manager (control/alt/del and select task manager), then terminate your web browser task. I hope no one’s PC was compromised in this attack.

I have fixed the problem, but I have not addressed how this happened. Until I do, whomever is doing this could strike again. Beware and be warned!
